The Moorage, overlooking Ucluelet's picturesque Small Craft harbour, is McBrine & Stade's current project.

The first phase East building is now ready for occupancy.

Phase One

includes storefronts facing Lyche Road on the lower floor, and 10 up-scale residential units above. The units are comfortable and luxurious, with spectacular views of the small craft harbour, the inlet, and the mountains.

Exterior and party walls are insulated concrete construction. The advantages of this environmentally friendly construction include energy savings, reduced fire risk, no potential rot, and increased soundproofing.

Between the two buildings a pedestrian plaza connects Peninsula Road to the waterfront. The design of the Moorage reflects Ucluelet’s heritage as a West Coast fishing village. Round posts supporting decks and walkways echo the pilings in the harbour, and the red-oxide colour of the shingle-clad exterior is traditional along the BC coast.
